This bench is made of 5/4 distressed pine and is quite sturdy. It is padded with vinyl covered  foam rubber.  The bench is quite comfortable. Options could be - different wood and stain, leather covered pads, velcro or leather buckled  wrist and ankle straps and a torso strap.
